magnetic spare key box
so i was changing my brakes today and noticed a small magnetic box with a spare door key in the front passenger wheel well. wish i had known that before when i had to wait an hour and a half for someone to bring me a spare after i locked my keys in the car. this box looks so ragged and old i thought it might have came with the car, anyone know if this is the case? its in the wheel well close to where the passengers feet would be

Re: magnetic spare key box
Back in the 80's my parents used those under the hood near wiper arms and I hid my spare Camaro keys behind rear license plate (use penny to remove license plate screws).
This post got me wondering why I don't do that any more (I should be more absent minded now than when I was younger
