Hey everyone, got some nice parts. Ill get some pics of specific parts up soon.
Red interior parts are mostly in very good shape except for drivers seat and carpets. no headliner. Dash parts in excellent shape. Door panels in fair shape, with some very good parts like armrests. Great mint map pocket. looks like good factory dash speakers, ill see if they sound decent soon.
Its an 85 Trans Am, 305 TPI, auto, t-tops, red ext , red and silver interior. rear end is a drum non posi. 15" wheels. it has 94K miles on it.
Po says engine and tranny run great, MAF was damaged. I havent verified the engine yet, going to try and start it today, but its heavily dissasembled on the dash, so im not sure the harness is intact.
body panels are generally minamal rust, but some have bad dents. pass door looks very good except for mirror. front ground effects bad, rears good, pass side good, not sure on drivers side yet.

it looks very nice. This bird must have spent most of its life inside as it has none of the usual t-top car water and rust issues.
Ill get it off tom and get a pic for you.

I got it as a parts car as it was partially disasembled and there were many unknowns. parts a worth more to me than the car was.
If you are looking for a body, this ones pretty good.
passenger fender is pretty good. it has just a tiny corner of rust at the lower rear. Ill get it off soon and we can see how it looks. the vent is in great shape with the clips intact.

also found it had the 'performance sound system". no head unit, but all the original speakers are there as well as the speaker boxes in the pillars. "gain" switch is in good shape. ill see if i can hotwire up the speakers and see if they work. Amp is there behind the dash.

How are the front seat belts, and the door opening scuff plates? Good shape still?

front seatbelts are decent, plastic covers and sill plates good. Drivers side sill plate completely intact, pass side has a small crack in sill plate that can only be seen when removed. retractors work well and have no rust.
front receivers are junk.
Sail panels (rear speaker covers) are good. one is coming unglued along one edge slightly.

rear wheels looks good, but the left front seems to be cracked (wont hold air). the right front might be ok, still have to check out, but at this time i would say prob only the rears are good, with no curbage on one, tiny bit on the other, finish in good shape. Ill get som pics and prices with shipping up to you soon.

The nicest parts on the car:

MINT dashpad. NO cracks. NO chips. NO tears. No scuffs!!! vents and speaker grilles perfect. Nicest Ive seen. $140 + shipping.

MINT dash map pocket. fold over type w/ velcro in great shape. plastic clips in great shape. $40+ shipping

SUPER NICE t-top bag: zipper works well with only 3 teeth missing at one spot, pull tab missing from one zipper pull. hardly any water spots. straps in good shape w/ minimal fading. $50 + shipping

The entire dash is almost perfect. all the structural parts and vents and ducts are perfect w/ no missing tabs or cracks. Ductwork even has good foam seals. Let me know which parts you need.
Some of the switches are really nice like the defroster, some are a little worn, like the headlight rocker.
Guage pod is perfect, but its an 85mph speedo
I have the speedo cable intact.

How is that middle piece (with the bird) between the tail lights looking and how much? I'd be interested in all of the door and hatch locks if you have a key for them, how does the steering wheel look? And how are the arm rest on the doors holding up and how much? Thanks.

Bird peice is red, pretty good shape, but not perfect. the mounting tabs have cracks, but still work. $5

The hatch lock is good w/ key, but the key doesnt seem to work in the door locks. I dont have another door key. $5 for the hatch lock w/ the latch if anyones interested.

Steering wheel and armrests are black and very nice. ill get some pics up soon.

so even through you don't have the keys to the door locks you think they still work if so i'd take both doors and the trunk lock and latch and can you send me a pic of the steering wheel and how much with shipping for all of it to 65616

I dont know if the door locks work or not, but they look clean and undamaged. little cracking on the chrome faces. Ill have them all off by this Pm and send some pics.

door panels. drivers side is pretty good, just the one tear and a little dirty on the map pocket. passenger is a little more beat. I want to see if anyone is interested in the complete panels ($20 each?) otherwise i'll strip the top caps and sell them seperately. drivers side cap is perfect, pass has just a slight banana.

they dont have any cracks i can see. only a litle water spotting on the back side. the top caps have pulled off at one or 2 mounts, but mostly intact. they both have some delaming and fraying going on at the front edge, pass worse than drivers. map pocket is good on the drivers side, floppy on pass side. email me and ill send more pics and a shipping rate if you like.

Also, is that plastic plate that surrounds the shifter in the center console good? The leather/vinyl boot on my shifter is cracked too...do you know if that piece comes off?

I do have a couple of console lids, not perfect, little cracked on the bottom, but look good on top. $20 for the lid.
Seats are the usual for 25 yo seats. few rips in the seat area, little faded. good for resto though, mechanically good w/ little rust, plastic trims intact.
