i bought a 88 rs for some parts to help put my car back together and im going to part whats left which will be everything minus the rearend suspension front k member and carpet/panels. let me know what you need! car will be striped in a week or two and the shell scraped anything that can unbolt will be removed and sold. have a 145 cluster!

hello im wondering if you still have the headlight switch i have a 1988 rs camaro too and im guessing my switch is bad because i cannot get my low beams to work at all! the high beams work when the switch is all the way out but when i press the switch back one only the DRLS come on not the headlights its really annoying when i have to drive some where at night and i am blinding every driver with my lights haha also would you happen to the brake light switch that goes under the brake pedal i think mine is missing because i get no brake lights only the spoiler light ohh i also need a new spoiler light too its burnt out only one bulb lights up in it and its sealed closed

Sounds like bad wire or short? Also check your fuse.

i checked the fuses a while back all fuses are good i also had a problem with the signals i replace the signal bulb today and the signal finally worked no brake light :'(

Did you replace your low beams? and is the third brake light on the hatch or in the small fin spoiler?

when i mean low beams new headlights? te problem i had with my third brake light was the bulb I had like 5 things i didn't know that lite up until i explored and took everything apart. Put all new bulbs and fuses and they all work now. Look great.

no i haven't yet because where i live its too cold most days until it hits the spring i live in penticton i will have to get new bulbs do you know if the lights are sealed or non sealed bulbs im not too sure atm

Yes they are sealed. If there stock and it is freezeing out i jsut did a tune up on a escalade today.. In my garge with no heater or anything. My hands are frozen and cracked.

Low beams are sealed and the other bulbs aren't the third brake light tends to get loose and falls out and jingles around. I was like what the f*** is that noise. it was so annoying i puled over took it off it was the broken bulbs jingling all over. replaced it made sure it stayed in. Car is nice in quiet and im always working out in the cold. it's negative -18 where i am right now in ny.

But get all new bulbs replace low beams. If not that then it is wiring short or somthing.

I still haven't got to fix my horn which is annoying me. But sick of this weather.

i believe so but i cant say for sure till i have the car at the house to look it over a little better. like i said the car will not be at my house till at the earliest tuesday and i work 2nd shift 12hrs a day so whatever i can remove in the mornings and between watching my 2yr old may be limited till the weekend.

The seats are black but have a good amount of ware on front ones but I can't remember if the rear is split or not.

alright just so everyone knows i havent forgot i just wanted to let yall know that we had abiut 8in of snow wednesday and the car is on a hill in a field and saturday it got into the 50s and well as you can guess its a mud pit right now and until the ground frezzes or dries up i cant get it down to the road without tearing it up or someone getting a tractor stuck.

Is it a ttop car? I have a 90 rs, it has ttops and is missing everything that goes on the ceiling around the glass, It was ripped out I assume due to the fact that they leak and ruined the headliner. Do you have an intact ceiling including the overhead light cover, headliner or plastic moulding? Preferably red moulding

I will have to find a way to test the hatch motor and I believe the dash pad is cracked up. Yes it is a t-top car but has black interior but my trans am had red interior and is a t-top car and ill be using all the black panels from this camaro for my car.
