Re: Dash and guage swap
hmm thought if it was digital it was all digital...but hell its been like 10 years since I was behind the wheel of a berly and that one didn't even start. My suggestions:
A) Do a few searches on here, see if you can find an answer.
B) just take the old one out and plug the new one in....and see if it works, if it does, great! If it doesn't then you get to figure out how to make it work problem might be with speedo, I dont know if the digital unit was fed electronically or mechanically, if its electronic you'll have to get an adapter of some sort. If its mechanical, well at the least the speedo will work.

Re: Dash and guage swap
If you intend to place the entire dash housing from an 88 Camaro into an 84 Berlinetta than you will need to replace the entire dash ( including the harness ) for it to work right.
You can't just swap the dash cluster so I'm assuming you plan on swapping the whole dash housing.
While you are at it you will need to replace the original heater / AC wiring harness. The Berlinetta system doesn't use vacuum and the Camaro system Does. The 88 Camaro was set-up with a dash harness connected to a Tail light harness - The Berlinetta used 3 harnesses for this purpose - so you might want to use the 88 Tail light harness to reduce the amount of splicing you will need to do.
Also; the windshield wiper wiring is different. You will need to either swap motors and cut/splice the wiring from the interior side of C100 to the motor, or cut the engine side harness and splice the berlinetta wiring into the camaro wiper wires on the dash harness.
I just swapped an 88 Camaro Dash housing into an 85 Berlinetta a couple months ago.
