interior ?

i just picked up a 1989 iroc vert. the interior is full of mice droppings and the top didn't quite keep all the rain out. the seats look decent enough, but was wondering if i would be better off getting a new/used interior or just trying to clean the old. i'm leaning twards new...just don't like the thought of my interior being covered in mice turds at one time.

Re: interior ?

I say strip it to the metal, put some sound deadner in, new carpet, headliner and seats. Then you will be real happy. And actually that does not cost too much.

Re: interior ?

Rent a steamer and steam the carpet and seats first. There's no sense in spending all that money if they can be properly cleaned. You wouldn't replace the carpet in the house if your dog had an accident, and this really isnt' any different.
