What did you pay for that kit, if you don't mind me asking?

Looks nice and good job on 1st try. Fronts could use some more finnesing. The double stitching is nice and looks better than the old tube run seam. Looks kinda like leather

i have the same problem w/ my seats...i recovered them also. They are loose because i have read you are supposed to hit the seats w/ steam and it will begin to loosen up the foam. The seat covers i guess you are supposed to do the same with to lossen them up....i tore my front seats a lil on the back @ the seams but you cant tell after a lil stitching. My father says they will tighten up after a while out in the sun...from expanding and contracting from the hot and cold

actually steam is the key or if u dont have a steamer a heat gun and water gets the same effect. in the interior business they use a steamer with a long thin wand of copper so u can get up in the set. if u cant steam your old foam buy some more from a int. shop 1/2 " will do most time. but concentrate on the front and sides not back, head rest will also have to have fresh foam on top they are made of more dense material and will not puff much with steam.......any more ? been there done that have the mental scars to prove it......custom fab hot rod interiors is a varied discipline but u can do it
