4th gen door panels
I came across mention in a thread I was reading tonight that the 4th gen door panels will fit the 3rd gen doors. That can't be right can it?

Re: 4th gen door panels
OK, so before I get flamed..I did search on "4th Gen Door panels", "Door Panels" and "4th gen" without success. That being said, I came across a thread that where a moderator answers this question. NO, they don't fit !

Re: 4th gen door panels
They fit but be prepared for some work they are in no way perfect fit. Its not bad but I also have the 4thgen dash. I hear the 4thgen door panels hit the stock dash pad. Even with the 4thgen dash you have to do some fiberglass work to the front portion in fact I have never seen the door panel swap 100% done. I am about 97% done just need to finish the glass work.

I'd really love to see pics once it's all finished. Aside from the dash, what other issues are there? Are the door handles similarly placed etc.?

Re: 4th gen door panels
Please dont take this the wrong way... But I copy/pasted your "search terms"...and found lots of info. ALSO...just try looking through the interior section. Not just on the first page. If you go to page two, there is a 2 page thread titled "started on 4th gen door panels...mmmmm" by Stage20. There are a good amount of pictures in there, as well as some wonderful finished shots. He is also a good guy, and would answer any sensible questions that you'd have after reading through the posts.
The search function is alittle lacking...but you'll have that anywhere. When you search, you need to go through the results, not get discouraged by the first page or two.
Again...not trying to come across as a jerk. Just saying that finding info on the 4th gen interior parts is easy as pie on this site. Its everywhere.
