3rd Gen Camaro Dash in 87 Bird
Hi Guys
I have an 87 Bird, originally V6 with a swapped 350 4 barrel. I bought an 86 Camaro which had the 350 in it and got it swapped. At the same point I decided I wanted to swap Dashes.
Now the connector for both clusters is the same size, however on first attempt when going to plug it in, I fried the Camaro cluster. I'm wondering if there is any adapter that is made for this, or if someone has a wiring diagram to repin the connectors so they work.
Any help is appreciated

youll have to find an 86 camaro service manual (the factory one) and an 87 bird service manual and compare the connectors and repin as necessary. (been there, done that. it is a pain in the *** if you do not have paitence)

Hi Guys,
One additional question about this, the cluster I initially had I know was out of an 86 camaro, however the new cluster I got i'm pretty sure is out of a z28... but I got in on Ebay, so I'm not sure what year it is from exactly... can anyone tell me if there is a way with just the cluster to identify what year and model it is out of
thanks, again any help is much appreciated
