I just bought an IROC and it has a little bit of cosmetic problems like the dash, shifter is rusted, headliner is cracking, the visors need to be replaced. Are those all swapable from my 92 RS resto? also. what else from a 92 is swapable to the 87?

not everything.
one that will not work is the rear plastics. on the drivers side 92 the plastic goes from the speaker area of the drivers seat back to the funny pretend rear glove box. that is different. the same for the passenger side back to the spair tire pull off.
the reason for the difference is that the seat belts in the 90-92 were on the side for the rear and pre 90 - i think it was 90 - the seat belts came from the pan area in just behind the fold down seat.
if you take out the carpet you will see the original seat belt points.
but you should be able to get a lot of good stuff. personally i like the smooth look of the side plastics without the seat belt hump sticking out the side.
