With the Yellow dash emblem, wouldn't that make it a 92, for the 25th anniversary? Or did 91 and 92 have that color?

Re: Please ID this interior
Thanks guys there is a guy here saying it is a 1989. If it is a 1990 or newer then it cannot be registered over here unless it is converted to Right hand drive so there are some people that try & pass them off as a year older than they are.
According to the VIN number it is a 1990.
Thanks for all your help.

Thanks - not quite police work but I will inform the car salesman he has a lemon as he won't be able to sell it unless he converts it to right hand drive which cost $18000 NZ. He is asking $25000 for it which is about right.
I have a 89 vert (Very Rare over here - only 2 that I know of in the country) I imported it myself, as it is over 20yrs I keep it Left hand drive. Owes me $20,000 valued at $30,000.

Re: Please ID this interior
Is the conversion requirement based on model year or manufacture date? The car is a 1990 model year, but all of the 1990s were built before the end of December 1989.

Good point it is based on month of manufacture. The car has to be over 20yrs old to the month before it leaves country of departure.

Always on the look out for parts of any sort but at the mo I desperatly need weatherstripping kit for an 89 vert & other bits.
Luckily most of the parts can be reused after the conversion because alot of american cars are modular so can be swapped around.
By the way I get asked alot and the answer is yes the pedals are still in the same position of a right hand drive car

It is normally the other way I have a nightmare trying to get any parts for my car as everything I want or need I have to get imported & the businesses over in the USofA charge an arm and a leg for shipping.

Re: Please ID this interior
just keep in mind. if its a true iroc, GM couldn't make the 90's past december 31st of 1989 when the contract to the "IROC" name ran out.

Nah because mine was imported JUST after it turned 20yrs old we don't have to convert it to Right hand drive I can legally drive it as a left hand drive car.
