Custom speaker covers???

Custom speaker covers???

I have a set of speakers and they do not fit under the stock sailpanels. Have any of you fabed up some custom ones and if you ahve please post pictures.

I went the cheap-o route and cut out the backing to the sail panel where the oval for the speaker was. So when they were on the speakers just barely pushed against the fabric.

I pretty much did the same thing to cover a set of 8" woofers in the sail panels. I still need to remove the fabric so I can cover the board with resin and stiffen it up, pretty flimsy as is. Currently, the very bottom of the woofer slightly pushes against the fabric.

you could also use the speaker grate that usually comes with them and cut ur sails and attack the grate to the sail would give you your clearance and make it look a little different before cutting anything though stick a speaker grate on the sail and see what it loks like

Then you can also use whatever speaker cover came with the speakers.
