Re: grant steering wheel question????
sorry to get off topic but you could save sooo much $$ by taking the grant wheel back and finding a 89 cavalier(junk yard) wheel like this onehttp://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.v6z24.com/jbodyforum/files/steering_wheel_172.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php%3Ff%3D45%26i%3D107140%26t%3D107140&usg=__fqERgrsYLlMmcvoDkbUgzPozSRM=&h=480&w=640&sz=117&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=nSdNgJm35hyuDM:&tbnh=137&tbnw=183&ei=xbQnTp6nGoy5tweNyN27Cg&prev=/search%3Fq%3D1989%2Bcavalier%2Bsteering%2Bwheel%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26rlz%3D1R2ACAW_enUS365%26biw%3D1348%26bih%3D531%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=1060&vpy=195&dur=6225&hovh=194&hovw=259&tx=62&ty=153&page=1&ndsp=12&ved=1t:429,r:5,s:0&biw=1348&bih=531

Re: grant steering wheel question????
Which Grant steering wheel and why spacer?
I have a Grant challenger using the Grant GM mounting kit and don't need spacers of any kind.
@ affliction, that's a pretty complicated way to link to this image:

Personally I do not like the racing wheel look for these cars. Doesnt go well with the rest of the interior IMO.

Re: grant steering wheel question????
I run a Grant carbon fiber wheel with the Grant billet ring adapter and Grant billet horn, all in black.
Works and feels perfect.

I have the satin Grant "Challenger Series" wheel like this, but also really like the one in black. No spacer on mine, just the adaptor.

I've got the same but satin black and I'm really happy with it. I had to trim a quarter inch off the bowl shaped piece but my car originally had an airbag

Just the right size ,sets very nice when the wheel is in the down position (driving). feels good in the hand . Evey time someone or yourself are looking in the car usually you see the wheel first. They make a nice impression. For any one that is considering a new steering wheel, here's a link. = http://www.grantproducts.com/product...eering-wheels/
