Rearview Mirror WILL NOT stay up
this thing fall off if someone farts within a mile, its getting old, i tried every over the counter type of rearview mirror glue, im doing all the directions, cleaning the glass and mirror button, using the prep, holding it on over a minute, letting it sit up 48 hours, i even tried scuffing up the button with the wirewheel. car is stored inside, hardly ever in the sun, the mirror is a standard GM compass/autodim, had the new camaro dice haning on it, even took them off. it has feel off 5 times in one month and 2 i had never moved the car
should i just take it to a glass place and let them deal with it or is there something i do not know, i have never had one fall off like this ever on alot of cars

I've always had luck with the regualr permatex rear view mirror stuff. If you want to get serious about it and not want it to ever come off, try gorilla glue.

I had the same problem tried everything. Nothing worked. I got some 2 part epoxy for metal and glass at the parts store, still didn't work it got hot one day and fell off again. Here's the trick like I said it was hot the day it fell off and I had put it on the first time when it was cooler out, but I put it back on on that hot day and it has stayed up ever since you may want to try that. My car has some pretty stiff suspension and it has held up so far. Yeah its missing in my avatar.
