Retractable cargo cover

Has anyone ever successfully retensioned a retractable cargo cover? I have one that everything is intact but it needs to be rewound. Do you know what the procedure is to tension springs inside the shaft?

Re: Retractable cargo cover

Try mounting it on the car, if you pull the cover out while removed it wont retract. It needs to be on the car or if you press in the ends while removed it will also pull the cover back in. Unless its actually broken.
