Interior door piece

Does anyone know where this goes. Inside DS door somewhere I think….Thanks!!!!

Looks like the piece the glass adjustment sweep bolts in to so it can slide... once the piece is bolted tight, they clamp together. This one should be underneath the sill. (If my recollection serves)

Where did you find it? Do you have the door apart?
Take apart the other door?

EDIT: Was thinking part of this...but not after remembering how these went together.




I may be wrong...It's been a hundred years since I've had one of these apart.

yes I had it apart and can’t remember where it went. Gonna look at the PS and see if I can figure it out….

I'm not sure where you guys are looking at the associated number, but in the top pic, number 30 appears to be the part. In the 3rd pic, number 36 is a spacer that fits under the ttop door wedge inside the door jamb itself. They are black and allow the door to rest on that stop when the door is closed, but only on TTop cars and convertibles.

Mantalay - Where did u get the parts list & part #s and detail diagrams? It looks like the Pontiac Master parts list book. I have the master list for the '72 Buick GS that I owned before the T/A.
