gauge question w/LT1 swap

i've heard different stories from different people, but will the stock V6 gauges out of my '88 firebird work with the LT1 swap? if not i have a cluster from an '89 formula, can i just plug 'n play that ? also my stock gauges have a 6K redline and the formula gauges i have redline at 5.5K....what is best for the LT1?

Use the setup from the Formula, oilpressure gauge will read wrong with the V6 80lbs gauge and tach will be closer to what the LT1 is since the V6 uses a different driver for it.
