pwr steering hoses?
1992 camaro rs with a 2002 LS1 engine. i searched and see where everybody is using the LS1 high pressure hose. my stock 92 hose has some kind of switch ( 2 wires in a connector) right above where it screws into the gear. what is this switch? what does it do? is it alright to do away with it when i use the LS1 hose? thanks guys.

Re: pwr steering hoses?
The switch is used to tell the TBI ECM to idle up while steering. I don't belive the LS1 PCM requires it. Most people use the factory LS1 hose.
