fans for lt1 swap

well i am swapping and need to get some suggestions on cooling fans.. i have access to stock 4th gen dual fans but dont think i would have clearance because i am going with an electric water pump... do you think a nice and big single fan would work if so any specific fans?

thanks!

Re: fans for lt1 swap

I have plenty of room between my LT1 fans and waterpump, I don't know why they wouldn't fit.

You might be able to see them here

LT1 fans. If they made 'em fit in a 4thgen, a 3rdgen can't be that hard lol.

Re: fans for lt1 swap

All the electric waterpump for an LT1 is is a motor that goes on the front of the stock pump and replaces the guts in the stock housing. Why are you going with an electric, the stock unit is more than enough for a stock motor.

Re: fans for lt1 swap

No, you have to be running the LT1 radiator as well for the fans to work.
