LS1 and T-5

I am looking into doing an LS1 swap into my 92 camaro. I noticed a lot of used complete engine packages on ebay come with a transmission. Does anyone know if you can bolt a t-5 up to an LS1? The reason why I ask is because I have a new $2000 (plus conversion kit) Tremec TKO600 in my car right now. Id rather use the 5 spd because the tremec is stronger then the 400 lbft t56. I need some input please, and if it doesnt fit does anyone wanna buy a tremec setup for a chevy with less then a 1k on it???? Help is needed......

Re: LS1 and T-5

Check on summit racing. They sell conversion flywheels that would sell you exactly what you would need to bolt it up.

People have bolted muncie's to LS1's IIRC.
