will a 3rd gen 2.8 v6 iat sensor work on a lt1?
i made a highflow lid out of a 2.8 v6 camaro lid and its got the intake air temp sensor that screws into the lid itself, and to make a long story short im going to the track and im gonna test my stock lid vs the high flow lid but i glued my lt1 iat sensor into the stock lid so i cant remove it,so can i just use the iat sensor that came in the v6(now high flow)lid?are they basically the same?,they both have the same plug style and the iat wire snaps into the sensor fine just wanna make sure it aint gonna throw a code or kill performance, thanks in advance, joe, here's a couple pics of the(v6) highflow lid & iat sensor:

i'm assuming that it should, iat work like a coolant temp sensor...meaning it works off resistance..hopefully the iat for the lt1 and the 2.8 are the same resistance..good luck
