I have an 86 z28 with came carb can I get a sending unit for a tpi car and upgrade the pump for my 6.0 swap

exactly what i'm doing for my car - bye bye carb lines and sending unit, hello walbro 255, tpi sending unit, vette fpr/filter, and braided line to front
paid more for my fuel setup then i paid for my ls1 long block....

I don't know 100% on this but don't you want to get the tank as well since it's baffled? or are the carb car tanks baffled as well?

There is some baffling in the carb tank, but I understand the EFI tank is different.
I did put a TPI pickup in my carb tank, but if you are removing a pickup from the junkyard, you might as well get the tank and all if it is in decent shape.
