6.0 LQ9 Swap Advice
Planning on beginning this swap in the fall and would like to start getting ideas about what direction to go in. I'm looking for about 430-450hp and similar numbers in torque
As of right now all I have is a short block and I plan on also purchasing a T56 along with a new rear.
I would like to get some information from people who have already done this swap and what has worked for them.
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: 6.0 LQ9 Swap Advice
in the middle of my own, not running quite yet. those #s should be very easy to get to with semi-stock parts. my route so far is lq9 bottom end, l92 heads, and an ls3 intake. if you get a custom cam, you'll be close to the 500 range.

Re: 6.0 LQ9 Swap Advice
I have L92 heads, custom cam, and ls3 intake on my car and i would say if i were to do it again i would get a good set of cathedral ports. The l92's are a bit lazy on the bottom end IMO. I just don't think a 6.0L has enough cubic inch to fully utilize the massive ports. Enjoy the swap, cus youll love it!
