I have a 91 z i swapped a lt1 t56 in, the harness was made by pocket,some changes made by ***** z28. it will turn over just fine but the fuel pump will not prime at all. I took the pump out and tested it and it works fine.anyone have ideas?

Factory thirdgen relays?
If you have electric fans, maybe try switching one of the fan relays with the fuel pump relay to test for relay failure.
iMaybe try sending 12V to the gray wire on the relay plug if swapping relays did not make the pump run.. This would directly feed the pump and should turn it on, to make sure there are no broken wires from there to the pump. Orange wire should have 12v at all times, black with white tracer will be ground, Grey is fuel pump feed, and green is the trigger wire.

They are not third gen relays,im pretty sure they are 4th gen. I found a pinout for my car.havent messed with that yet and i did mess with the relays and notta. Also the fuse by the battery is good.
