I got the bug to go get the cars out and photo them. I couldn't find a good back drop but I had fun anyhow... My current toys:

Plus there is no real fall folliage here, not enough rain this year. The trees lack alot of their usually color this time of year becasue of it.

Re: After reading "Ahh fall..."

Thanks, the camaro is actually more dear to me than the C6. My dad bought the Camaro new in 89 so it kind of holds a place in my heart, irreplaceable if you know what I mean. The C6...ehh they stamp them out every day, its fun to drive none the less but not the same as driving the IROC.

My father bought the car new in 1989 and kept it for two years. I loved the car and always wanted it so I tracked it down this August and bought it off this wonderfully nice couple in WV. The car was basically mint and orginal when I found it. It does need painted but other then that, I was pleased with its condition. Even has the factory radio, mint interior, unmolested engine. These are just after minor cleaning when I picked it up.

engine bay:

Anyhow, when my father ordered the car in 1989 he got the 350 in place of the t-tops, it was about the same cost option for the two. He hates open roof cars so he ordered it sans the t-tops and with the sticker delete so hence no IROC stickers or stripes. He also didn't want the hood louvers but its a must with the IROC. Now that it is my car, I am very pro open top driving so I wish I had the t-tops and I really like the look of the stripes but I will never add them. This is how he ordered it, this is how it will stay. If I want open top driving I remove the targa on the C6.

If you wanted to do away with yours, I guess you'd need to get a roof from another car, cut yours at the a and c pillars and weld it in. Not a major job but... your paint is so perfect (seemingly at least) I would not mess with trying to match, unless you wanting a whole respray.
