My 1988 Camaro
I bought my Camaro six years ago from the original owner. For five years before this it sat in a garage and was driven very little. At the time, I had a 1992 B4C Camaro but I really wanted a Camaro with T-Tops and a manual tranny - neither of these were available on the B4C cars. The original owner finally decided to part with it and made me a good deal on it - knowing that I would take good care of it. This last year I upgraded the TBI 305 CI motor with 083 head castings from a Z28 Camaro. I also added Edelbrock headers, an Edelbrock intake, ProForm 1.6 roller rockers, an MSD Blaster ignition coil, and a high flow catalytic converter. All of these mods are emissions legal as we have emission testing in Colorado. I also bumped the timing to 6 degrees BTDC and removed the stock air cleaner and replaced it with a K & N chrome filter. When it comes time to check emissions, I have to replace the air cleaner with the factory unit. I have had first, second and third gen Camaros, but this one is my favorite.
Have fun out there and be safe!
