Re: check this monster out
I would really like to see some more interior and underhood shots of this...
I absolutely HATE that he used that cheesy rear bumper cover!!!!
Looks like it was probably a high dollar build that lacked some basic thirdgen taste... ie rear bumper... But overall I think that its cool, and good to see people still willing to dump money into them.
98k NO WAY

Re: check this monster out
This is a case of a guy who thinks he will get every dollar invested back out of the car.
There was a moron who used to parade around Car Craft Summer Nationals in St. Paul with an old GTO in a similar state. Huge Weiand, polished everything, and wanted $90k for it. I saw it for sale for several years at the show. It was a $40k car, tops.

WOW. LOVE the interior. Reminds me of a Spyker C8. The fron is cool and so is the engine of course. But the rear! Yikes!!! Looks like it was inspired by a funky Hot wheels version of the car! No way I'd pay 98k. Even if I was the richest most generous man in the world. That El Camino next to it is pretty sick.

Hate the interior. You can keep the body. Sell me the drivetrain and keep the rest.
I know he probably spent a good amount of time on the car but everyone has different tastes. Mine doesn't like this.

That car looks like something you would see in a playstation game.
I do like the color though.

I would not pay over 10 for this car.I mean its obvious they put a lot of work into it. But come on? Youre trying to sell it for the price of like small town house.Hes selling it for the price of a brand new Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class CLS63 AMG. Haha someone needs to slap him and say "Dude its a thirdgen" and maybe itll work in his mind and he'll have a big realization

Re: check this monster out
The paint on the car was at least a mile deep. It looked good in person, but wasn't perfect by any stretch. Being at a car show, it should have been detailed better under the hood and also interior cleaned. There were a few dents on the drivers door also. A lot of work went into the car and the crowd seemed to like it. There were over 925 cars pre registered for the event and over 620 actually showed up.
In the 1982-92 F-body judged class, I lost to this car. They only give 1 trophy per class and the winner is selected by popular vote, so the spectators at this show must've liked something about the amount of work put into it.

Ok, I'm not sure why the counts are so low, but I called NPD and asked if they kept the vote tally for the show. Out of over 600 voting sheets, there were 47 votes for this car to take 1st place. I guess people don't appreciate originality as my car only garnered 11 votes!! There weren't many 3rd gens on hand, so I wonder who took 2nd!!

Re: check this monster out
wayyyyy too much money for an asking price. very nice car though. i have to agree about aftermarket bumper covers. the factory look is the best. i put a snyper cover on mine & i hate it. 2 years later the fiberglass is all cracked, & it just looks dumb. IMO, it devalued the car. ill never do this again.
