65k Mile 91 Camaro RS
I bought this car in the beginning of June as a gift for my dad. When I first saw the car I didn't think it was worth the 6500 the guy was asking for the car, I looked it over briefly and found far too many flaws to justify that price. A few months later I get a call from him and we settled on 3500. Brought the car home and put it in the garage to keep the paint from fading any fiurther. To my surprise I found all of the dealer documentation inside the center console and I also found out that it was purchased in California and eventually made its way across country. The car was purchased off the lot by the PO's father who died in 2005. It was his dad's weekend toy and he registed it in 2005 after his dad died and put a total of 500 miles on it and then it sat in the garage. The interior is absolutely spotless, the radio was broken, and now the seats getting a little worn and probably will rip soon, and the trans slips like crazy in 3rd, but I still think it was a great piece of unmolested third gen history.
Pics:
When I brought it home and washed 7 years of garage dust off it
after the buff
Only really bad flaw on the car
It looks great next to my bird.
GM paperwork
Window sticker
I'm not sure why I don't have any interior pictures but I'll take some tomorrow

The car looks like it will be a nice week end ride if that is what you choose to do with it. Since the V6 got better mileage they were generally used as daily drivers. Most V6 Camaros usually got driven to death. Yours looks like one of the few remaining lower mileage original survivors. Good looking car.

I'd say it's was a good deal at $3500. Hope your dad enjoys it.
