Saga is right ! i figured it would be a straight forward install. I got the passenger side installed no problem. Drivers side different story with the oil pan i had the drivers side wouldnt clear the oil pan so have to swap the pan. Ok no big deal remove motor swap pan put motor back in at the same time there was a few little issues i wanted to take care of at the same time transmission dipstick I had a lokar one that was too short and didn't read correctly. with the oil pan i had the dipstick also didn't read correctly. figured while i have the trans out i will install shift kit and also install the 3 inch exhaust. also add a trans cooler. well I started this project back in october. here it is january and it is still not done. yea i haven't worked on it everyday or nothing but. everything i do i end up having to fix or replace something. all for a different set of headers.
here is a list of what i have had to do to fix or replace because of this.
headers
oil pan
relocate oil pressure sending unit screwed into side of block it hits header
shift kit
new trans lines and trans cooler
brass fitting for trans it broke
3 inch pipe and 3 inch race mufflers
oil
oil filter
trans fluid 6 quarts
new kick down cable somehow it broke
all of this for one set of headers i should have stuck with the patriots it was a running and driving car!!!
also hydralic jack broke had to replace bought 2 ton jack
to help with trans install bought trans jack
so I have out about 1000 bucks to change the headers. it is nickle and diming me to death
