1st wash of the season. Car still not fully back together since 2017 right rear quarter replace and paint. Both fun and challenges. At 80,000 miles has seemed to always need something mechanical. But it's a keeper. It gets nicer to drive every year as it gets refined.

Gorgeous Car! I don't think anyone's car is fully back together. LOL! But you are able to take for a cruise and shows; and I appreciate all the work and dedication! I can see why it's a keeper.

This makes my top list of coolest things Thirdgens have. There is also one on the bumper and rocker panel. Just love it. They sold 52,457 of them ('84). In 1984, you were it driving this thing around listening to Van Halen 1984 cassette lol

Trans is out to check potential noisy throwout bearing. Something was squeaking. Will also check the input shaft bearing. I suspect the new throwout bearing that was installed last fall during clutch replace. Replacing it with a Hayes brand.

Let us know how the Hays fits and feels.
Gotta take my transmission out tomorrow and replace throw out with Hays high performance. The AC Delco lasted less than 500 miles. Might not have liked the 6000 rpm rev though!!!!
