Got my new rims on
I bought these from Duffster here on the boards, great guy. They are ZO6 replicas 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear +58mm offset, i am running 245-40-18 front (wanted 275's but Duff gave me a great deal on these tires i couldnt pass it up "Thanks Duff!") and 295-35-18 on the rear. I did use 2" spacers all the way around. Car is still stock height and i dont know how i am going to lower it with the rear tires being even with the rear fender. And i hope to get a 4th gen rear in the future to lose the drums in the back.
Anyways on to the pictures.

They look great! I think they would look even better with a slight drop. Do you think you could use a thinner adapter in the rear without having to take a hammer to the wheel wells?

Re: Got my new rims on
Those look really nice. But I have a question that is not on wheels. Are those real, actual open, vents in the front of your Firebird? I absolutely love that. I don't know that much about Firebirds, did they come stock with a car or did you have to add those on yourself? Do you know where you can get the louvers?
Not only do I like your new rims, I like the old ones to.
Enjoy!

If you can that would be great! I plan on running the same wheels and would also like to run a thinner adapter to get them tucked in more.

Re: Got my new rims on
thanks for the information.
if you go to a 4th gen rear end you will not get much except disk breaks, if you have disks on the one you buy. you are still going to have a small rear and it will be 4 inches wider than ours.
you would be better off getting an 87 cam rear end. if it has disks on it then it is posi. and it is a stronger rear end.
and are those side vents at the rear of your hood? i have never seen a camaro with those - nor a bird either.
