gta without spoiler?
Searched but could not find a pic of a (85+ grid style tail lights) firebird without the spoiler. Someone please post, I may be interested in removing mine.

Look up a TGO member....'Ward'.
His white "tailless" GTA in his sig pic, is the first one that comes to my mind.
Last time I took mine off to repaint it, I ended up leaving it off for several days after it was done. It was actually kinda cool looking, to me.

This thread inspired me to go outside, and take mine off. Mine was in terrible shape. I'm not sure if I like it or not. What do you fill those giant holes with?

Re: gta without spoiler?
I used a brass punch on the bottom side of the decklid and welded on top of it. The weld won't stick to the brass, so I just bridged the hole. Then with my dads help I used a skin of bondo, some icing, and 3 coates of high build primer. Blocked the whole thing down before paint and then base and cleared it. My dad shot part of the primer and all of the base and clear. It turned out awesome. There is absolutely no evidence of the holes anymore.

Mine was the wraparound one which was in horrible shape as usual. I plan on replacing it someday, just not in the budget right now. Some people have suggested leaving it off but personally i think i'd rather have it on.

Re: gta without spoiler?
This pic alone has made my decision. It wont come off for a little while because I dont need a paint job yet, and I'm on a budget.
How much would it cost at a body shop to have the holes filled and the paint fixed? Thanks for everyones opinion!

I like it. I'm a fan of the less is more look. If the car has a bit of a rake to it, I don't think it messes up the body lines or the sense of motion.

I took mine off when I realigned my hatch because it was falling apart. I don't like the look of the car without it, but it may be awhile before I can afford the fiberglass one and new paint. I temporarily filled the holes with silicone, looks awful.
