Looks like a clean straight car. Love the blue. Now you just need to cut 1/2 coil from the springs to get it to set like this and you'll be all set. (this is my LB9 5speed car)
PS: I assume you got the drivability issue fixed. What was it?
You should smack the guy that put the weights on the exterior of the crosslaces. And how fast were you driving wenn you lost the wing?
I put the wheel weights on the outside like that because I was using a friend's tire balance machine and we didn't have the sticky weights, and the wheels aren't as nice as they look in the picture.
The clearcoat on the wing was severely delaminating and the decklid was rusting underneath the wing. So I re-painted the decklid and left the spoiler off because frankly I don't like them. Personal preference. By the way, I got the car for $950. It was wasting away under a tree beside a lake for 2 years before I got it. The tires were so dry rotted they wouldn't hold air and had moss growing on them. I'd say the car cleaned up pretty good... Back on topic.. Cutting 1/2 coil will lower the car about 1-1.5 inches which is about perfect.
was that car from a dealer in KC that had it on craigslist? i wanted that car, but can't afford it but i still have my 88 GTA project which keeps me happy...nice car we should kick it sometime

Yes it is and they ripped me off! It drove fine for a 30min test drive, then barely made it home back to St Joe! Turns out the injectors were bad and I fixed it for nothing

how did you figure out the injectors were bad? I'm curious how this was diagnosed, thats all
Well knowing what parts had already been replaced, I checked the fuel pressure, and it checked out good. So then I ohmed the injectors...one failed miserably and two more were borderline. So I replaced them all and now she runs beautifully.

Cool, thanks for the info. I've never had to replace injectors for an issue like that, so I was just trying to understand what had happened.
wow she is beautiful, what a car, wish i could afford another one to drive while i restore my 92, unless u want a 99 escort...!!! damn those taillights are perfect... good luck
WOW that thing is beautiful!! I never saw a blue 91/92 Trans Am before. Is that the factory color? Well either way, factory or not I think its a gorgeous color.
Thanks. I actually sold this car after owning it for about 6 weeks. My camera is an old crappy Canon Powershot 5mp lol. The photos have been edited slightly.
And the color is called Ultra Blue Metallic I believe.
