Re: Sexy GTA
looks almost like mine so I love it!
do you have a set of front rims on the rear or is just me?
here's mine...
it's not in as great shape as yours by the looks of it... physical differences are that I have the beechwood interior and Monte Carlo tips out the back, some door dings (gives it character)

Re: Sexy GTA
That's an awesome color combo SweetRevelation. Mine's Flame Red with the Beechwood interior. I've owned gray, black, and beechwood interiors, and beechwood is by far my favorite.
Nice cars, both of you.

Re: Sexy GTA
Mine's got some stuff that's going to have to be done to it to get it up to where I'd like it to be. Mainly minor things, the paint is chipping off the bottom passenger side of the front bumper, the carpet has seen better days, and the seats will probably need to be recovered soon. They're not bad, just a lot of wear on the drivers from someone getting in and out. Map pocket is detached, that sort of thing. All stuff that shows it's age on these cars. Of course, I've got a lot of big performance and suspension upgrades lined up for mine too, can't ever leave those out, haha.
The thing that amazed me about my car is how untouched and original it was. As far as I can tell, the only thing ever changed from factory was the coil, sparkplug wires, a flowmaster muffler, and a CD player. I was shocked that all the power stuff still worked. I'd never messed with one before that the power door locks, power mirrors, hatch-release and pull-down and stuff like that worked on. Pretty good for a 24 year old car.
Anyways, I've got some more pics in my thread. Hopefully I'll get to start a build thread up on it soon. SFCs are likely going in this weekend, and then I can really start swapping things over on it. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/memb...third-gen.html
Keep up the good work, that will be a very valuable car you have there someday.

Re: Sexy GTA
you can try vancouverfbody.com if ur not on that already, but i was looking for an IROC for about 2 years then I saw this, cuz it was parked on the street on the way to and from BCIT. I figured I should go talk to the guy, turns out it was an amazing find, it had 87,000 km and it was the original owner. it needed some work and the spoiler had to be replaced, but I got it for 5500. he originally had a sign in it asking 10 grand.

Re: Sexy GTA
That definitely was an amazing find, considering how it can be rare sometimes to ****** up a good deal on them in the vancouver area. I have a V6 86 bird but I have a feeling that I'll want to upgrade to a v8 trans am sometime in the future. I guess I'll just keep an eye out and see what pops up

Awww, cute! I like the mini-me GTA!
Your full-sized GTA is stunning. I hope mine looks that good when I'm done with it.

at a diecast store in vancouver, they are out of stock now for the most part but lots are still on ebay, made them in any color that GTA's were in 1989, even made a TTA with all the indy 500 decals.
