Re: My 1989 Pontiac Firebird

I really like your black trans am's exhaust tips they look menacing. Also your car is one of the few that looks decent with the '84 rims and tail lights. Nice job.

That's a great looking car. I really like the color scheme. The turbo wheels look great on the car too; they match the silver on the car.

Not sure how I feel about the Trans Am decals or the Knight Rider stuff, but hey, it's your car.

You are right, I am planning to replace the Transam logos with the ones that correspond to this car: the silver "Firebird" emblems. I already have one, I have to get the second one for the other side. The Knight rider light actually changes color and it becomes a white driving light. It actually looks nice at night. Thanks for your comments!

Re: My 1989 Pontiac Firebird

Really like the car, the 82-84 stuff make it look sharper.

I'd ditch the fake fender extractors, the shark antenna and weird ground effects though.

Are those 14" or 15" N24s ?

Re: My 1989 Pontiac Firebird

OscarGTA89, I need an opinion from you. I am considering buying Turbo Fin wheels, not Turbo Cast wheels, on my 91 Base FB. The car is going to be super Knight Rider black. What do you think would look better: the Turbo Fin in black, or gray (which I assume is your color)? Or should I be daring and go ahead and have them do some sort of black mixed with red to get an unusual dark red? I want the car to look good, but not sure if I want it to scream out "look at me I'm tricked out"! I know, it's all so overwhelming!

Re: My 1989 Pontiac Firebird

I considered at one point re-painting the wheels black. I think an all black car will also look very nice. I photoshoped my wheels black once, I am going to look for the image and if I find it I will post it here.

Re: My 1989 Pontiac Firebird

Looks great. I'm digging the gray on the bottom. I've got an all black '89 Firebird just like that and have been thinking of doing something similar.

Re: My 1989 Pontiac Firebird

Cool car, not a huge fan of the blackouts on the front end just cause of how it lines up with the hood/lights but i do like the car.

Out of curiosity, what's the little fin just before the rear wheel? It's "interesting", it keeps me thinking there are some type of ground effects there, but I don't see them when I look at the car.

Very cool vehicle!

Re: My 1989 Pontiac Firebird

Oscar-I had tried to contact you via ebay regarding the car, would the car still be available? Now that the auction is over, could you please send a reply to my email address leehehe@myway.com regarding some questions I had asked. Best regards, Lee
