Hey everyone, huddle up
I want to take a minute out of everyone's busy schedule. I want everyone to take a minute next time you get in your camaro or t bird and think twice.
We all love our car's. am i right?
They are an extension of who we are down inside. I'm 22 a just got my 88 rs, and all i could think about from the day i got it till just a few moments ago is " how badass would i look blazing down the high way in my camaro". I assure you we would all look badass. But i want you to stop and think, this is for the young members like myself and the older members. We are all young in our head when we get behind the wheel of our third gens.

this guy was the same way, riding down the highway or where ever he was and bam, everything changed. He lived, but he learned from his mistake and now has a newer look on life.
So before you pull that car onto the road, i want to stop and think of your life and how wonderful it is. Remember its ok to have fun, but have fun in a safe way.
and my heart goes out to everyone that is in memory here. LET THE STORIES LIVE ON, remember them as they were and not where they are

Re: Hey everyone, huddle up
At the age of 22, I wrecked my 85 Z28 by being foolish behind the wheel.
I'll never forget that day. I think part of me still had octane running through my veins since it was November 9th, the day after I came back from domestics vs imports at MIR. I oversteered down I-95 and smashed into a truck doing 70MPH. The angle that I hit, however, actually resulted in minimal damage to the car. It tweaked the frame and smashed in the front inner bumper mount so It's gonna require about $450 on the frame rack, plus a new bumper, two new fenders and a new hood which I am getting ready to repair along with a new paint job in a couple months.
The nature of the accident and me not loosing the car in the process was a big wake-up call. It doesn't matter your age or how good of a driver you think you are. If you think, "It can't happen to me", yes it can.
