Are there any dyno places in Michigan?

Anyone from Michigan, please help me out.

I am building a new engine for my car, and when it is done, I want to run it on a dyno. Are there any chassis dyno places in Michigan??? How much do they charge?? Thanks!

none that i would trust...........

why do you want to dyno?

if you really want to have a good idea take it to the strip, alot cheaper.........more fun and less worries.

Why wouldn't you trust them????? Are they dishonest or something???? I will definitely be takin it to a track but I want to get some hp and torque #'s and document everything in case someone starts talking crap or if I want to sell the car in the future, I can have proof of it's characteristics.

first of all, most people don't like to buy cars that have been dynoed or on the track because of wear..........these are the same people that won't be interested in a modified car anyway though. not to mention all the numbers in the world don't mean a thing if the car can't pull it off on the street. what good is a 400 horsepower car if it runs 14's?

secondly, i don't trust or like them because something always goes wrong or like in my case insanely low numbers. very rarely do you ever hear of a good dyno story around here. although you are certainly free to take your chances this is just my 2 cents.
