change to missouri emissions law??

Anyone hear anything about them changing the laws? My brother said they made it so anything older than 96 didnt need to be tested... It sounds like crap, but I thought I would follow up and see if anyone else heard anything like this. Please post if ya have info!

I have heard of this happening alot in different parts of the US lately. I live in an area where emmissions are NEVER TESTED because of the dense population I suppose? IMHO Emmissions for our old cars should be exempt from testing and I believe they will be soon in all states.

I heard the same thing about 96 & older being exempt, think it takes effect in Nov. I just had mine done last month, luckily it passed. It will be nice to take all the emissions stuff off to help us in power
