New from Chicago South Suburbs
First time third-gen owner here. Thought I'd introduce myself and post some pics of my ride. I bracket race at RT66 in Joliet. I just bought my 89 IROC with an LS1/4L60 swap already done. It has long tubes and a full stainless exhaust, custom cold air intake. 3200 stall converter and a 3.73. The motor is out of an 02 TA so it already has an LS6 intake. Joined the board to use the search engine pretty much. Might ask some questions if I hit a wall looking for info.

Thanks guys. When is third gen fest? I'll definitely be out if it's not during a bracket race at 66. She's currently in the garage right now down to a short block getting heads and a cam. Shooting for low 12's or high 11's this season. Tipp, I'm right down 115th in Alsip.

Mmnnn. You should come to the club's private rental at Cordova Dragway.

I'm trying to make it to the race at Cordova for sure. Heard about it on ****** Militia on Facebook. I'll be there if cash allows. It's the day before the first bracket race a 66. This weekend she should be close to running. Just ordered a Yank SS4000 and a 3.70 gear. Turns out my car actually had a 2.77. Tracked down a 3-series carrier for it. Keep an eye out for this thing on the South Side this summer.
