I've got them on the front and back...so far no troubles (7 months). Only thing is I can't see for sh*t at night. I even have Xenon headlights and use my high beams. I try to only drive the beast during the day so I don't have to worry about driving at night, but we all know how that is.

They aren't legal in Maryland though -- but like I said, no hassles to date.

I've asked other drivers around me and they've told me they can see my lights (front and rear) just fine. I like mine too much to take them off -- kinda makes the lines on my car smoother.

I custom made these front blackouts

Just for the High beam lights (was sick of the covers over the whole light bezels flying off). Have not had any problems, doesn't impair night driving and nobody else has this look (around here anyway).

haha, I saw this post and had to reply, ive had black outs since I bought the car 6 years ago and was only "hasseled" once. and that wasnt even a biggie he just said "oh and by the way those are illeagal" but thats not why I had to post. last summer on my way home from work im being followed by a state trooper, I come up to one of those stop signed intersection were you have to stop and kinda look hard over your left shoulder to see if anythings coming well I stop at the white line and look and it seems clear so I start to pull out and get maybe 2 feet and see a car coming so instead of pulling out in front of this person I come to a stop. well the cop musta been looking over his shoulder and thought I had already pulled out cause he runs right into the back of me!!! he hit me pretty hard but it didnt do any "visable" damage so I play the whip lash card until he made it clear that he was at fault, ( I didnt want him to blame me for having tail light covers) So needless to say I told the trooper (A training officer w/ 20+ years on the force) not to report it and to just call me the next day to make sure my neck was ok. the next day he shows up to work and hooked me up with full PBA member cards (not that honorary BS) I havent got a ticket yet, and dont think I havent been pulled over!

Black outs, I used to get them, until I stopped drinkin whiskey....Oh, head and tail light blackouts. I believe the locals let them slide. The state troopers though, thats a different story. If you do get caught with them, you will be given a warning, and you will have to have any law enforcement officer sign the paper, stating you had removed them. You can put them back on, but, I hope you dont run into the same trooper again! Same goes for window tint, if it fails the transparancy test.
