ive been wanting to get a long island cruise night for us thirdgenner's july 5th is a saturday. place to meet deer park ave. about 8:00pm if we can get enough people it would be an amazing site up on that strip, it would kinda be like a time portal back to the mid nineties..lol as most of u probably know d.p.a. is a local cruise strip that used to be filled with thirdgen's and 5 liter mustangs. know its mostly *****'s and some serious muscle that comes out late at night. we can fill up a parking lot, and do some laps together. this would also be a good chance for thirdgenner's to meet, check out eachother's rides and have a great time. imagine deer park ave with 30+ thirdgens's rolling down it!! if u r interested reply to this thread.. planning it now could make for an awesome huge cruise night.. maybe an annual thing?

Man I would do the motor in a minute if I had the $$$$$$.
I would love a LT1 or preferably a LS1 (hey if I could dream lets drop in a LS7) however then I would need to chang the trany and all the mounts and basically spend a lot to get it in.
So I would like to try and stay with the TPI type set up... What would you recommend?

i donno i could try to track a ls1 down for you, but the swap will end up about 10 grand or so ...i had a zz4 crate in mine couple years ago...nice motor...get the one with fastburn heads 385 horse and a stealth ram...should be nice....why dont u go carb...even easier...
8T9 Bandit...do you have any friends locally that are willing to participate...i'm only seeing 5 people give or take...is it just me or not that many people in the upper east on or participate on this site??? Whether it's parts or these local get togethers it never seems like a lot of people gung-ho about it. LOL, just my . We should have a way in the search block to search continental area or state wise, would make getting local help and these get togethers to occur more smoothly.

With the ZZ4 what mods would I have to do? and what would one cost me?

idk,, maybe my idea sucks but. when going thrue other threads i do long islanders.. and people from queens and brookklyn.. i just dont think many people look over on this section.. afterall, there really isnt much over here. if i posted this in say the tpi or detailing and apperance. we would have a ton of locals already.. we have plenty of time though...
Sure next thing I would know is you beat up looking iroc would have a new Borla exhaust and some black body parts...

Hey guys, this is my buddy. Just got his GTA today, and he's down for the cruise.
I have another Friend in Richmond Hill with a 88 GTA (Ikeepitrealz), he's down for the cruise and so is his other friend with a 89 GTA.
Things are looking very well.

Cool to see long island guys getting together, usually its 4gens or stangs. I'm surprised lot of you guys from queens and closer to the city want to drive out here I'm like 3 miles away from DPA. With Gas prices and a few years ago cops patroling and setting up check points, no one goes up there anymore used to be like fast and furious up there fox bodys, camaros, nicer imports. cops used to have a "detail" up there a few cars that was there job for the night now theres only like 2 that patrol doing the laps up and down the ave.
Anyway I'm down too just gota get some minor body work done.
i am a member-godammnit sam learn how to spell. its ikeepitreelz..lol..ok crazyhorse? anyway yeh i am down but the car is going to look like crap. i hope i an get it painted by then. just have to drop in the motor this month so far we have like 3 people? just kidding..lol. looking forward to July 5th. Sam your lazy self better get that license soon!
