Hey guys, I think it may be time to call it a season. With the weather getting colder and salt on the roads to destroy them. I DD mine so I prepped it for winter driving (besides for bald tires). With experience I know it's no fun to drive one of these cars in bad weather so what do you guys think about taking January and February off abd see how March looks?

Ahh, we survive no matter what. Sometimes we get used to the mild winters and work all the way thru. Back in 2009 and 2010 we had the mega storms ... they hurt a bit.

Hey Fran what A/C compressor are you looking for. I cleaned out the garage on Saturday and found a ton of parts. If you need pics I can take some when I get home. The sticker is also still on the compressor.

I don't think you can just plug it up to test it,it will not operate without freon,so the pressure switch will not go on.I Think

It was too early to function that morning haha but yeah I believe you are right. It came off my 92 bird I had lying around the car had a bad starter so I stripped down parts off it (no title that's why I didn't replace the starter) incase anything ever went bad on mine. So, I have no idea if it works or not since I never had the car running. The car had all the maintanence reciepts in it from 12k miles and it had 192k on the odometer so it was a very well kept car. That's all the background I have on the compressor.

Yup mounts on the passenger side of the motor. I'll send the pictures to my email so I can post them up for you tonight when I get done work. Hopefully it'll help you see if it could be a fit for your car.

Awesome ride man. You'll have to come out to the next meet when it starts back up. I saw a few nice thirdgens riding around yesterday just couldn't get a hold of them to inform 'em about the group. If you know anyone spread the word. It would be nnice to see a bunch of new rides for the beginning of the season in March.

What's happening everyone? I would recommend to anyone interested in coming out this season to the cruise nights to keep an eye on this thread. I would think as soon as the snow/salt are gone for good, it will start up again. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
