Second thread, APRIL 26TH ... Counting down the days..
OK all, the days are quickly passing by and the 26th is just about here. Can we get a current head count of those planning to attend? I will be there with my wife and son, I have at least one friend that says he and his wife will for sure be going.....
Plan goes as followed...
9:30 am , meet up at Dennys parking lot here in Paso Robles, head out about 10 - 10:15 (giving time for out of town members, I know how traffic can be) then off for a cruise. I estimate the drive to be "roughly" 40-50 miles, back roads through the hills with some very nice scenery! Then, find a spot for hanging out and taking pictures, taking to one another etc... There has been talk of using the beach house in Morro Bay, is this still on? I was thinking some pictures by the Morro Rock would be cool. Then, as a group, we can decide on where to go for some food. After that, the day is up to the group I guess.... Actually, the whole day is up to the group..... If anything is needing to be changed up, let me know. Thanks to all...
See you soon
Jason

Im still down. I wont be able to make it an all day thing but I will be there for most. Ill probably be leaving after pics in Morro Bay. We are auditioning a bass player and the only weekend he can do it is the 26th
The beach house is still open to kick back, use the bathroom or whatever.
I might have a couple with me. My buddy and his 98 Z28 should be there, along with my dig and vid cameras. I hope to put all the videos and pics together on the computer with music for all that attend.

I'm coming.
I'll come up but I don't know about the long cruise though. I'm coming up to go to a bodyboarding factory called TOOBS. I'm gonna make my owm board there cause I used to be sponsered by them but never got to see the factory.
Hopefully my car will cooperate too cause I'm swapping quite a bit of stuff before I come.
Hopefully It will be a nice gathering though, I look forward to seeing some nice cars!

Easy choice Dwayne... Come cruise with us!
On another note, those pictures of gears you posted, the gears are fine, just use a dremel and smooth out the chips so there are no sharp edges that could lead to fractures. I did that to the gears in my truck after the carrier blew up and chipped a few teeth.... I have put a few thousand miles on them since with no trouble. Zac should be able to help you too if needed.
Call me, I have not spoke to you in a while.

That's what Miles @ 9bolt.com said. Smooth them out.
So if I did smooth them out it won't weeken the metal? I plan to test the spray at launch so I don't want this puppy weak.
If I do keep them I'll more then likely go on the cruise.
I just found out he SLP day has been cancelled so that settles that.

By all means, bring the girlfriend... I am taking my wife along, and think a few others are doing the same. This cruise is for fun, not any speed contests or stupid driving. I don't want anyone going home with a ticket or even worse.... Go ahead and bring her, the drive should be relaxing, nice backroads through the countryside, then to the ocean.

And also, If anyone was interested, I have this set of rims that I am dieing to get rid of. They have jsut been sitting in my garage for like 6 months now. I could take them to the meet if anyone was interested.
They are Cragar ss 15x8 (x2) and 15x7 (x2), they are perfect.
Im looking to get $275 for the set of 4, someone must know someone looking for some rims

Just to make it clear... 101 travelers, coming from the North of Paso Robles, take the 46 East offramp, hang a right and Dennys is right there in front of you. Coming from the South, take the offramp, hang a left under the overpass, Dennys is on the left, Coming from 46 (valley area) Straight on in, under the bridge, there we will be.... Clear enough?

I may not have the new gears in but it looks like the 88 will be road ready. I'll be there.
I'll have 2 FRS walky talkys, a cell phone, digi video and camera.

Yeah he should be able to make it. We started it last weekend.
I'll need a 200 shot to keep up with him now
My calipers need rebuilding so I won't have the new gears in yet but I drove it today, blew a lower rad hose.
It was a Goodyear hile miler too. The motor twisted so far that the belt hit the hose. I moved the rad more to the front after I set up the hoses and the lower one was just a bit too close to belt after the relocation.

I have had a suggestion given to me.... Do you all wish to possibly eat breakfast at Dennys at 9:30, then cruise out ? If not, that is fine too... Let me know. I have recruited 3 more cars, each say they are positive on going..

I dont usually eat breakfast, so if the meal happens Ill just show up a tad bit later or something.
Crazy how this is finally here. What was it like december when we first talked about this? I need to get a new tire and renew my insurance before we go, or else I will be the wussiest person out there.
