How much can you get the stock 350 Vortec for? I am going to be putting a fresh engine in my Yukon, either a crate if the price is right, or I will build something to take more boost.... 12 psi sounds good eh?
Thanks

oh yeah, the engine can be bought brand new for 1521 from sdpc2000.com or paceparts.com , the LT1 cam is 200 new, about 50 shipped if you get a low mileage used one, the intake with the boring will probably run 275, the holley TBI unit could be grabed on ebay for about 150, 65# injectors $100. Then choose your own headers, cat, and cat back. Oh, and the Edelbrock heads are 1175. That would run you, including some of the misc. things that you need like sensors, gaskets, etc. about 4K, all smog legal.

I am not sure what I can get that for, unfortunatley they know what cars my dad has and he could get in a ton of trouble if he bought one for somebody. He tried that once and the dealership was not happy. Supposedly he can only buy for immediate family. I could always say your my cousin?
He tried buying a zz4 for a project 69 camaro my uncle was working on and they said no.

No problem.. I would rather build a fully forged short block for it anyways... Just if the price was good enough, I would go with a stock replacement. If I build one, that just means more power , and last time I checked, that is not a bad thing...

Yeah... For some reason I thought you didn't want to anymore.... George Lara is planning to bring some parts up this way, maybe we could have him be a middle man for some pizza or ? Let me know. Actually, PM me for any further info...
