dude i had a blast 
really guys, all you are goin to hate me. i was gunna wash my car last night round 2 am but it started to rain. i was pissed. for damn sure i wasnt gunna take a dirty black thirdgen to the meet.

To say the least... Those who missed it, really missed it! I think we all had a great time, I had many compliments on the route I took everyone on, the scenery was outstanding, the members were even better!!!. I did not get a ton of pictures since I was wrapped up in talking with everybody, but my wife did snap a few. There were many cameras , so hopefully the pictures will flow in on this board. Enough talk, on with a few pictures........

To tell you the truth, the scenery in these pictures I just showed was nothing compared to the actual cruise.... I hope someone took some shots, the roads were great, lots of curves, lots of green grass and trees, shady roads for miles , etc...

I have pictures to post i just need to get them developed. I'll probably get that done this week. I had fun, but i have a lot of work to do before the next meet. I had to run in the back with the civic. I'll have those pictures soon. By the way if you guys are planning to make a track run could you wait until August so i will be 18. Or if you don't i'll hang around anyway. And for the record i never hit more than 95 because i got a ticket 3 weeks ago and had to do traffic school after the meet.

I dont know the name of the guy who owned this car but it was one of Dwaynes freinds. I forgot the guys name! He had a normal looking Iroc until he opened the hood, once the hood was opened the hood I about died!!! I like this pic

Hey Dwayne, if I remember right didnt you smoke the newer TRANS AM? I was behind you when you raced him and your car fished tailed like no other. Once you guys gunned it everybody started haulin it down the freeway. That memory will forever stay embedded in my memory to see a ton of 3rd gens flying down the freeway. Hopefully it will happen again!

After I got some traction I think I took him going into 3rd
Jeff has less then 500 miles on his new set up so he's taking it easy for now. He'll let us know when he's taking it out to Fomosa. I should be able to use the N2O by then but I'll still be using the same tranny.

Actually I talk to Dan on the phone today and I was telling him how much I could get the GM performance engines for. I can get the 350 HO for about $2000, The ZZ4-$4000, and what is funny is that I can get a LS1 for $5000. That tells you that GM is making a killing of those. I can get five thousand off one engine and only about a grand on another. A few guys at my dads work said I would not be able to pass smog putting a high powered engine in like that. I still dont understand. If anything I will go with the TPI and see what I can do. I sent Jason a IM telling him if he has a extra TPI setup laying around so I can work from that. I am definitly going to do something but it seems like I am going in circles.

if you want to stay all smog legal and make a good 350+ HP do this......

Edelbrock TBI intake (bored to 48mm or 2")
Holley 2" TBI with 65# injectors
Edelbrock Centerbolt Aluminum heads
headers, hi flow cat, 3" cat back
The heads, headers, cat back, hi flow cat and intake are carb certified, the LT1 cam is pretty mild, the engine is a regular production engine (roller cam assembly, 1 piece rear main seal, and 87-up intake bolt pattern). And the Holley 2" TBI is just an upgrade to the stock 1 11/16" TBI. This is the setup that ill be going with within the next 2 years and it should definately pass smog.
