I just went and checked out this car tonight:

This guy has two binders full of stuff on the car including the original build sheet and dealer order sheet. He also has a real shop manual to go with and it drives pretty damn nice as well. The car has added AC and the only negative on the car is the miles and the there is one hole by the passenger side key hole were someone used a screw driver to break into it, but looks like an easy fix. What do you guys think of the car, all opinions welcome, and he said he would give it to me for 4k.

He's just referring to the upgraded brakes that come with the 1LE package, I looked at those too and they are the bigger aluminum calipers and bigger rotors, and yes it is a real 1LE.

I like it from what I can see, good year and options.
Sounds like the meticulous type of owner you'd want.
Don't really know what the value is of the 1LE's, let alone most Camaros.
I'm assuming 4K is a pretty good price for it, considering the miles, which does play a factor in price IMO.

The guy added AC to the car (its switch controlled) and it was originally a no radio optioned car, the guy added a stock radio to it a while back. Thanks for the actual opinion Del, anyone else want to add more than a “snork”?

To clarify, there was no crying of any sort and I have only posted one car I was considering to buy.

The car is a verified 1LE with a build sheet, and EPA window paper.

I don’t want to run spray through it and don’t want to do more than CAI and a cat-back for performance.

The car came with a few extra things that I will be selling shortly.

I got a ton of extra stuff with the car: whole entire red interior(everything for the interior except seat covers), Spohn subframe connectors, all parts need to convert to no AC, the original rims with tires, new head cover gaskets, new intake gaskets, a rear hatch panel were the wing attaches with holes welded shut (in I want to go wingless), rs spoiler, TPIS afpr, actual chevy shop manual, and a NIB edelbrock cat-back.

Personally I think the rims look good on the car, but I will be selling them.

What kind of rims are those? They look kinda like AR torq-D's.
I don't think they look bad, but stockers are good too I'm sure.

As far as the wing, it's a bummer you're removing it, that's the only style I like on the Camaros.

The wheels are from Vintage Wheel Works, there are called V45’s. I will be posting a for sale thread soon.

I meant to say I had a welded rear deck “in case” I wanted wingless, but for now It will have the high rise.

And I will probably get them welded in but would want to do it my self so I could take my time.

They wont be cheap, they cost $300 a rim, and the tires have could tread on them. They aren't perfect by any means, I am cuurently trying to find what they have been sold for used but haven't found anything. All I found was a couple threads talking about the rims in a magazine a while back.

if you take off the rear hatch of a matching #'s 1le for a wingless than that is the most hacked thing you could ever do to a thirdgen and you should be slapped sideways for that.

F*cking what the F*uck, I said for now its staying with the wing, and thats mostly because its a 1LE. And thats why mod wise I won't be doing a whole lot to it, I am trying to sell the Two Brand New nitrous parts I have that way there is no reason for me to use spray. This will be my daily driver.
