Anyone recommend a business to replace convertible top?

Recently bought a 92 Z convertible and need a new top.
Would love to find some actual testimonials of local businesses....
that are both quality and fairly priced.
thanx-
Matt

I don't see a listing of where you are located, so I can't say that I am local here in SF, but I can personally vouch for someone who does amazing work. He's not cheap though. But people come from all over the greater bay area, and he specializes in Porsche, but he does it all. Google Acker Leather Works, if you want it done right, you won't be sorry!

Are you going with a glass back window? Have you considered doing it yourself? There is a ton of information in the convertibles forum. Might be good to read through if you haven't already. Mine is torn and I believe I will replace it with a glass back window. It's a bit smaller, but I like the look and the function.

Re: Anyone recommend a business to replace convertible top?

Sorry, I live in petaluma, CA.

I went to tops online website and called up a place they recommended in Napa.
I guess, it's all going to have to wait anyways.... funds are low.
Maybe in a few months.

The main purpose was just to get some choices... actual business w/ price comparisons and great testimonials.

And if a company did a horrible job, I wanted to know that name as well.

I won't be taking this on myself.... I'd be pretty upset if I messed up on it and it's not exactly cheap.

I will be going w/ the glass window! and cloth.
