My 92 RS convertible is now in the paint shop, due back next Friday (14 Aug). Only thing left to do when she comes back is to replace the convertible top, which is pretty well had it. Does anyone know where I can find videos or instructions on how to replace a top? This is my first convertible so don't have any experience with this sort of replacement.

 

Google "thirdgen camaro convertible top replacement instructions", there is a 2 part video on Youtube that gives you a good idea as to what you need to do.

 

P.S. There is a section on this site dedicated to Convertibles. You probably would get better responses there.

 

I did do a lot of searching, but only found like 2 minute sample videos of what looked to be snippets of the job. Didn't see anything that I could really use to guide me through it. Hoping to find some more comprehensive instructions.

 

I am curious, if you Google that exact quote that I gave you, does it not return two videos? I mean literally Google and exactly what I typed minus the quotes?

I am curious because I am wondering if Google is returning different results for me as compared to you.

 

It appears to matter which search engine you use. I was using the Youtube search function and it didn't find these videos. Thanks for the help.
