Re: GTG@IKEA/IDEA?

Like, meet at Ikea in W Sac and then go somewhere afterwards?

I don't know that area well, but I know down the road there's plenty of places to eat and there's also some place called "Evil Genius Racing" if somebody wanted to dyno their car for fun while others BS.

Not too bad an idea.. we meet, go get some lunch, or household items, then go check out the Evil Genius place. Bring what u got if your car is down for repair/upgrades.

Re: GTG@IKEA/IDEA?

Ikea they sell furniture and kitchen supplies, and other things of the house-ware variety it is all flat packed, and Swedish, so the stuff has funny names like "juunk" and crapp" for example: MAGASIN, (rolling pin) DRÖMMAR (Cake decorating set) it is a good place to go when setting up a dorm room, or a starter house, the stuff is cheep, but you get what you pay for. I think it would be a good place for a GTG of rental trucks, has anyone tried to fit a bedroom set into the back of a fire-chicken?

Most everything there you put together, so the stuff was just a lot of long boxes.

Of course I'll show up. I got a daily driver 91 Z28 now so we can meet anywhere. For spirited driving up in the twisty road then, I'll take the 91 1LE.

Re: GTG@IKEA/IDEA?

I likes that boat!
And Ikea is Swedish design that is made in China garbage. (a guy that works at Ikea in the day and Wally Mart at night also told me so!)
You guys plan on going to the dyno shop let me know. I can show you where it is (or you can follow the Miatas).
I'm a West Sac native and worked on the block where that shop is for many years. (Too Many, People giving directions would use me as the landmark)
