kartman should come down to the Norcal Invasion in August 27 or 28. We need some more fast Thirdgens.

You know, my engine has been in the car 8 years and it's a 350 with a relatively small camshaft Congrats on the 2 stage system though, very nice setup.

Re: Nor-Cal 2011 1/4 Mile Times - Get on the list!
Well the times are going to stay slower with the ET Streets (bias-ply) but they are more consistent, The linelock worked great, we did see Tim there he made one shakedown run with his new ride.

Re: Nor-Cal 2011 1/4 Mile Times - Get on the list!
meh doesn't look like I'll get the car out at all this year. Not enough time to do what I want and just general lack of interest at the moment. July really put a big dampener on things when my mom passed away from cancer. I might get some things done to the car over the winter but who knows.

I am sorry to hear that Cartman...My mom passed away from cancer 5 years ago. She was too young 43 years old. I feel your pain man. No one or nothing compares to what your mother means in your life.
On a side note, getting out there and racing may make you feel better. And just going once to the track may make your mood change. Ya never know.

Re: Nor-Cal 2011 1/4 Mile Times - Get on the list!
I'm trying to get my other project up to the track next month but I'm not sure if I'll make it in time. It was a huge shock loosing my mom, none of us knew she had cancer. My dad took her into the hospital the last part of June and after a week of tests, they found out it was cancer. She waved the option of any treatment and they gave her a month to live, she made it just 3 weeks. One good thing was, there was only 2 days that she was really in much pain, the last day being the worst. At least she didn't have to sit around for months or years just waiting for that horrible disease to take her life.

Re: Nor-Cal 2011 1/4 Mile Times - Get on the list!
Sorry to hear about your mom. My dad just passed away Feb 28th from cancer. It's rough!
On a bright note, I am trying to come home in March, so hopefully I can have a t56 lined up and ready to be swapped in when I get home. Maybe I will be able to get some runs in with the new engine. I may just drop in another used 700r4 to be easy and cheap, and see how long it lasts.
I know I only put like 14k miles on this one that I got from bennie, but then again, it was from the black penguin which already had like 6X,XXX miles on it, so I am not complaining!
My cars loves to eat Engines, Trannies, and Rear's. Engine #3, about to be tranny #3, and Rear #3. Although the posi still works great, the gears have a chip in them, and will need to be replaced one of these days.

I was hoping to come home, put in a new tranny, and make some passes this coming year (2012)... But turns out I am deploying. Then I come back and I PCS from Japan a few months after I get back. So I don't have any time to come home in 2012.

Nah, I'm cool, but this gives you an idea.
2.5-liter V6 IS 250 makes the most of the available power on the road. Even with its six-speed manual transmission, it doesn't ever feel genuinely fast, yet its 7.5-second run to 60 mph is 0.2 second quicker than the last Audi A4 2.0T we tested. Both sedans clock a 15.8-second quarter-mile at about 89 mph.

13.40 @ 102 and 2.1 60ft. 383 tpi w/AFR 195's, Lingenfelter 216 cam, Accel intake, 2800 stall. Stock 2.73 rear w/posi not working and crappy kumho ecsta tires. This was the first time I ran it. I know this thing will be ALOT faster once I get the diff rebuilt and throw some 3.73's in it, and more importantly LEARN how to drive it..lol.

what kind of car though?
EDIT
Its a camaro. from what you put on the other thread. Still update it with the year, model, engine of car so it can be on the list. Did you race it at Sacramento raceway?
