Post your time Travis, and don't let anyone tell you it's lonely at the top, it's not true.
Looks like Rocklin Automotive has added Travis's car to their "Courtesy Shuttle" lineup.

Travis, I hope you enjoyed your time at the top.
We finally got the bugs worked out, and was able to shift thru 1st and 2nd with no hesitation like a couple weeks ago. This new engine rips thru the gears at 7800 rpm and pulls like crazy.
(and that was on the street w/ street tires on it)

350? I thought it was a 400?
Either way, I didn't text ya back, but Bravo on that run, was very crisp and clean. If you weren't driving, who was though?

The new engine is a small block, hoping to run some spray next saturday.
1 stage for sure.
Post my time, it follows the car, not the driver.

Oh okay, I thought the 2 stage was used on the last setup. What's some of the details of this small block?
I never saw times for the couple Fresno-ish guys that ran at the last GTG.

Not to sound cocky, but ****, if you drove out there, you should run it. When you show up at the track, it's on! That's why I can't go to cruises.

Re: 2012 Nor-Cal 1/4 Mile Times - Get on the list!
Since nobody else is posting times, I suggest we post my times as they improve....
We ran Grudge night tonight, and ran a best, 10.43 @ 129, still on the motor, and popping just a bit.
The power went out at the track around 9pm and there were no lights in the pits, or parking areas. We never figured out what happened, but the lights were down for about an hour. They started doing "arm drops", for those that just wanted to run.
We had just changed the plugs for nitrous, and decided to run it 1/2 track and see how the car (and me) reacted.
We ran it in the dark w/ no tree, and a 200 shot off the line. It pulled hard and felt like it was really in it's comfort zone. I was told it pulled the tires, didn't "sky" it out.
It felt good, and ran straight. I think if we get the popping taken care of, it should run 9.40 or better on the first stage, then we can work on the 2nd stage (another 110 shot)

It seems like everyone's car has just enough left in it to make a 200 mile cruise to Wally World or the 6 Flags before it needs something else to keep it going.
Jeez its like Bennie is working on everyone's car!
Rocklin Automotive will pay your entry fee if your race your Thirdgen at any Northern California event. All you have to do is post your time on the "Get on the list" post.
I'll also kickdown stickers and T-shirts for ya as well. Better hurry up, only 8 spots left, once they're filled, it's done!!!

Bennie is 1 man, you have an army working on yours plus deep pockets, haha!
Way to motivate the top 10 though. I'm sure Jesse is dyin' to sport a sticker and a T-shirt, lol. Paying his entry fee may entice him to post his times once again possibly.

I can see Jesse now wanting to race in one of those sanctioned events. Isnt entry fee on some events like 200 bucks? lol that'd be nice of Marc to pay that much!

Even though Jessie & I have burried the hatchet, I'm sure he doesn give a **** about my shirts or stickers.
As for motivating a Top 10, What could motivate more than Free Admission?
Last time i went out it was $35 to race Grudge and even higher for an NHRA event, so even if its $35 for the next 8 Grudge events thats 8 cars @ $35ea, for a total of $280.
Way to support someone thats willing to cough up $280+ just to get people out to the track and THEN post their times.
DEEP POCKETS, OUT!

Entered my first big race at Infineon Sunday, I was #4 qualifier, with a 10.68, on a 10.60 index.
I slept on the line, but still ran a 10.45, my only improvement was a 1.43 60'

On Rocklin Automotive's website, the gallery page is being rebuilt, but has some of the most recent vids.
http://rocklinautomotive.com/drag_videos.html
Theres a bunch more on youtube, search for Rocklin Automotive, then click on Mr3rdBird's channel, then you can see the entire transformation.
I dont have time for editing, so some of them are kinda lengthy, it makes for some good ''on the job'' veiwing.
Thanks for the blanket..
